Crock Pot Caramel Rum Fondue

You have fed your guests appetizers and a nice main course. It’s time for dessert which can also be cooked and served right in your crock pot. This is a wonderfully sweet dessert fondue that will delight your guests as a great end to a great meal. It serves 6 people but can be increased to serve as many as you like.

Ingredients:

  • 200g of Caramels
  • 100ml of Whipping Cream
  • 10 ml of Rum or 1.2 ml of Rum Extract
  • 60g of Miniature marshmallows
  • Dippers: Apple wedges and Pound Cake

Procedure:

Combine the caramels and whipping cream in your crock pot. Cover and heat approximately 30 – 60 minutes or until melted. Stir in the marshmallows and rum, or rum extract. Cook an additional 30 minutes. Set out dippers and serve.
