Crock Pot Sunday Roast

Ingredients:

  • 1.5 – 2 kg beef roast
  • 1 can of beer (brand doesn’t matter)
  • 1 Envelope of Italian Dressing Mix
  • 4 Sliced Carrots
  • 2 Baking Potatoes, cut into cubes

Procedure:

On the night before you are serving the roast, put it in the crock pot. Add the beer and dressing mix. Cover and cook on high heat for an hour. Reduce the heat to low and allow the roast to cook overnight. Add the vegetables the next morning. Stir to mix the vegetables into the roast and liquid. Continue cooking on low heat until you are ready to serve it. This is not a dish that you can overcook. Serve with dinner rolls and a salad.
